The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism alongwith the 292nd Pontiff of the Madurai Aadheenam visited the temples in and around Madurai and those coming under the direct administration of the Madurai Aadheenam. Temples are the strongest pillar of Kailaasa, the enlightenment ecosystem established by Paramasiva. They are built to optimally store the Cosmic energy within them and behave as satellite stations relaying the energy to the surrounding region. Reviving them to life and connecting the people back to them is a significant contribution of The SPH in revival of Kailaasa.

Madurai Aadheenam : Philosophy & History Of Madurai Aadheenam

Video Link: https://youtu.be/48IESo_djSQ

June 24, 2012 at Madurai, Tamil Nadu

In a video The SPH elaborates on the history and philosophy of the Madurai Adheenam which he states is the most ancient organization on Planet Earth, dating far back before recorded history. He proposes to retrieve the unwritten history of the Adheenam through the power of Akashic Readings, during which he downloads the cosmic truth of world events. He confirms that the founders of the Aadheenam were Paramaśiva and Devī themselves and they established the Adheenam in their first appearance in human form. Devī appeared as Mīnākṣi, who became the queen of Madurai, and Paramaśiva took form as her husband Soma Sundareśvar. The SPH clarifies that they were not incarnations, in which the human body inhabited by God is carried in an earthly womb. Rather they transformed themselves from higher formless realms into the semblance of human shape, bypassing through the fire before they were transformed. Describing the event The SPH relates how the spirit of Mīnākṣi descended from her divine space through the fire into what appeared to be a human child of three years. She did not assume human physiology but maintained a human appearance throughout her life on Earth.

The grand celebration of Mīnākṣi Thirukalyanam, the royal wedding of Devī Mīnākṣi and Lord Sundareśvar was observed. All present were blessed to have darshan of this divine happening in the presence of 293rd Gurumahasannidhanam of Madurai Aadheenam, His Divine Holiness Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam.

Devī Mīnākṣi, the Cosmic mother, happened on Planet Earth thousands of years ago in the sacred land of Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Pandya king Malayadwaja Pandyan and his wife Kanchanamala had no heirs, so they performed the Putra Kameshti Yaga, the Vedic ritual to manifest fertility and have divine children. Out of the sacred fire of the Yaga emerged a beautiful young girl with three breasts. An an unembodied voice, said “This divine child is destined to conquer the whole world. When she meets her soulmate the third breast will disappear”.

Named Thadathagi, she grew up mastering all sixty four arts (kalas) including warfare, poetry, drawing, sculpting and more. Before being coronated queen, as was the practice, she set about conquering the world in all 10 directions. Finally she arrived to conquer Kailasha, but one look at the divine Paramaśiva, she fell in love and her third breast disappeared.

The pinnacle of art, culture, tradition, spirituality and architecture come together as the Mīnākṣi Sundareśvar Temple in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Feeling-Connection the Ultimate Technique

Video Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3WIIepaOac

The SPH Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam shares his experience of the revival of Madurai Adheenam, downloaded from the Akashic Records and interpreted for our understanding. When Śiva left the Planet Earth the spiritual climate became degraded. This happens after the departure of an enlightened master; corruption sets in and the crystalline purity of the founding vision is lost. At the time just before the adheenam was revived, a group of Jain monks held the religious power. The SPH distinguishes between power, which is something added to us from outside, and energy, which dwells within us innately. The Jains offered many practices for enlightenment, but they missed the ultimate technique for raising consciousness: the development of sacred sentiments, the feeling connection with divinity. When Jnanasambandhar accepted the invitation from the queen of those days to revive Madurai Adheenam, the Jains were abashed. They saw that their spirituality was incomplete and that they could not offer a true road to enlightenment. Jnanasambandhar completely embodied the bhakti of love for the divine.

The SPH led by example, cleaning and supervising and going around the temple premises to study the work that needed to be done to renovate and rebuild the temple which has been in a state of disrepair.

Hundreds of The SPH’ devotees gathered to take the first step towards reviving and preserving this beautiful ancient energy center. The SPH also visited other temples in the village to study the effort needed to rebuild them. He blessed the visiting villagers, who extended full support to The SPH for His plans for renovation, and to return to its former glory.

The SPH said, “Today, more than ever before, we can appreciate the Vedic intelligence that gave rise to the concept of temples. The powerful positive vibrations present in a temple can flush out negative energies, resulting in physical and mental healing. In modern times, temples are truly the oxygen bars for the soul!”

For more than 2000 years Madurai was the cultural and spiritual beacon of South India.  It was ruled by the Pandya kings, whose love for religion and culture transformed Madurai from a thick, dense forest in to a Temple town, where Hinduism was not just a religion, but also a lifestyle.

The original founders of Madurai Aadheenam are Lord Paramaśiva and Devī Pārvati in their incarnations as “Lord Sundareśvar or Chokkanathar” and “Mīnākṣi.”

Four ancient temples in Tamilnadu, South India come under the divine auspices and administration of the Madurai Aadheenam viz. the Sri Agnishwarar  temple, the Sri Sakshinatheshwarar Temple, Sri Kachaneshwarar Swami Temple, Sri Pannagaparameshwara Swami Temple.

Madurai Aadheenam: World’s Oldest Hindu Establishment

Video Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-i0NP0_edbk

The renaissance of Śaivism in Madurai was a sacred task was taken by the child-incarnation, Tirujnanasambandar, one of the four visionary saints of the Śaiva Siddhantha tradition. As a baby, Tirujnanasambandar was once nourished by the milk of enlightenment from the Cosmic Mother herself. This child prodigy arrived in Madurai to effortlessly defeat the learned Jain monks  with his wisdom, healing powers and spiritual prowess and restored Madurai to her beloved religion, Shaivism, by reviving the ancient Madurai Aadheenam and the Mīnākṣi Temple, which had fallen to desolate ruin. Madurai Aadheenam is today the world’s oldest living Hindu organization with a recorded history spanning a glorious 1500 years with an unbroken lineage of illustrious pontiffs who head the Adheenam as reigning emperors to this very day.

Over the centuries, Madurai Aadheenam has been patronized by the likes of Tipu Sultan, Robert Clive and poet saint Vallalar. The pontiff of the Madurai Aadheenam is known by the title ‘Guru Maha Sannidhanam’  and inherits the responsibility of carrying forward the traditions of Tirujnanasambandar’s sacred kingdom.

The SPH as the current emperor, says, “’Madurai Aadheenam will be a model socio-spiritual kingdom which will show the way for India’s ultimate flowering,’

The SPH, 293rd Guru Maha Sannidhanam of Madurai Aadheenam, Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam visits the ancient Saatchinathar temple. One among the 24 Gurusthalams, it was built in the 6th century for Lord Dakshinamurti.

The temple celebrates the leela (divine play) of Lord Paramaśiva, who had helped an old lady merchant who was in legal trouble by standing witness for her. Hence the name Saatchinathar – (Witness).

The temple also has a very special Gaṇeśa deity. During the Krita yuga, Lord Paramaśiva asked Gaṇeśa to save the world from the great deluge. Gaṇeśa created a well on the east side of the temple tank and channeled all the seven seas into that well, controlling the deluge and saving the world. Lord Varuna, the God of Oceans, created a deity of Lord Gaṇeśa from sea shells and other materials obtained from the sea and worshipped him as “Pralayam Katha Vināyakar”.

On the night before Vināyaka Cathurti, a special abhiśekam with 100 kgs of honey is done to this beautiful Gaṇeśa throughout the night. All honey that is poured during the abhiśekam is absorbed by the deity. No abhiśekam is performed during the rest of the year.

A unique feature of this temple is the three different postures of the same God residing in three different altars. The three figures of Viṣṇu are in standing, sitting and reclining postures.
